BarrelGuide coming soon!

Hey friends! I’m happy to share a little project I’ve been chipping-away at:

BarrelGuide is a directory of craft distilleries in North America which will help enthusiasts discover and connect with local distilleries.

In addition to being a simple list, BarrelGuide will feature detailed profiles for each distillery, including their history, products, and customer sentiment.

Technology-wise, I built the site using Atro, a modern web framework for creating fast, responsive user interfaces. The bulk of the site will be static HTML pages, with some aspects (search, APIs) being fully server dynamic.

It is deployed to Cloudflare, and I’m using their CDN and caching features to ensure fast load times and reliability.

Supabase is being used as the data backend.

BarrelGuide is a passion project, and I’m excited to share it with you all!
